Novib funds the whole program in Mumbai - Maharashtra. 50% of the funds are utilized for Resource Center and 50% for the programs.

RESOURCE CENTRE
- Innovation: New, mass replicable methods to accelerate children's learning of reading writing and numericals have been developed which enable children to read fluently within 30 to 60 days and to do simple maths with numbers 1-100 have been developed over the last six months.
- Curriculum: Curriculum for teaching history, geography, sciences through interesting books and activities is being developed.
- Evaluation: Reliable and rapid methods suited for mass assessment of children are being developed. These methods are also useful for parents to easily monitor the progress of their children.
- Networking Exchange: Young women who have become community leaders in different cities are traveling to other cities to exchange experiences and results of experiments. More advanced of these are taking up responsibilities in new towns and cities. Pratham is ready to launch a massive networking drive to introduce NGOs and CBOs to the simple techniques of child-literacy so that a voluntary movement can begin across the country.
- Training: Training different city and state units in the new methodology and assessment techniques goes on.
