This year, in Delhi, we have been able
to add 14 new classroom in 3 MCD schools. The project was
funded by the NPL/Novib. The total cost being Rs 13,13,000
(Euro 25,267).

MCD School, Biharipur (Mustafabad-North Shahadra)
This school has 1073 students. In the vacant area depicted
above 4 new classrooms have been built at a cost of Rs 3,79,000.
(Euro 7,300).
400 students, in 2 shifts, will avail of an
area of 1,600 sq ft in these 4 new classrooms.
MCD School,
Karawalnagar (Mustafabad-North Shahadra)
The school in Karawalnagar has 2297 students. 7 classrooms
have been added to the existing set up, at a cost of Rs 6,44,000
(Euro 12,390).
These 7 new classrooms, with an additional area of 2,800 sq
ft, will accommodate 700 students in 2 shifts.
MCD School,
Johripur (Mustafabad-North Shahadra)
The MCD School in Johripur has 2890 students. 3 class rooms,
with an area of 1,200 sq ft, have been added. The cost of
this project was Rs 2,90,000 (Euro 5577).
300 children will benefit from this additional area.
