About Pratham-Shah PraDigi Innovation Centre

Pratham Shah PraDigi Innovation Centre was established with the vision of creating open learning opportunities for children and youth aimed at learning for school, life, and work. Since its inception in 2020, the Centre has developed technology and learning models, tested them on the ground, and scaled them within Pratham and beyond. The Center continues to create technology enabled learning products and programs that can be adopted at scale.

About the Tech-Assisted English Program:

Our current English program is tech-assisted, integrating traditional teaching methods with digital tools to enhance learning. The program improves students’ reading, speaking, and comprehension skills, using technology to provide a more interactive and flexible learning experience. By combining both in-person and technology elements, it ensures high-quality education is accessible to students in both rural and urban areas.

Job Description:

The position is for an English Trainer who will support the implementation of the English Learning Program. The role involves conducting training sessions for learners through in-person and online modes, supporting learning activities, and coordinating with the program team for smooth execution of the program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand Pratham’s English Learning Program methodology and content.
  • Conduct English learning sessions for learners through in-person and online modes.
  • Facilitate engaging learning sessions using available teaching resources and activities.
  • Support learners in improving their English language skills.
  • Track learner progress and share regular updates with the team.
  • Maintain records of training sessions and program activities.
  • Collect feedback and observations from training sessions.
  • Coordinate with the team for effective implementation of program activities.

Requirements:

  • Graduate in any discipline.
  • Entry-level candidates or candidates with 6 months–1 year of experience in teaching, training, facilitation, or a similar role.
  • Good knowledge of English, with proficiency in reading and speaking. 
  • Good communication skills in Hindi and the local language.
  • Basic understanding of English language concepts and learning content.
  • Comfortable conducting training sessions both in-person and online.
  • Familiarity with smartphones, apps, and basic digital tools.
  • Willingness to travel for field visits and training sessions as required.

Locations: Pune, Maharashtra

Remuneration: Negotiable based on resume and experience. 

Process for Selection: 

  • All participants will go through an interview.
  • Participants who meet the criteria for each competency will be selected.
