Pratham and National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) have been collaborating since 2018 to enhance foundational learning levels of children in Chhattisgarh. In 2021, Pratham and NPCI embarked on a new partnership aimed at improving children’s foundational literacy and numeracy skills across 430 villages in the Kanker District of Chhattisgarh; the program is known as ‘Foundational Learning Program’. The program also seeks to actively engage the local stakeholders in supporting educational needs of children in their communities leading to sustained impact. This is achieved through implementing the program using a multi-tiered approach of in-school, community, and digital interventions.

Reach 2022-23

ITC has cultivated a longstanding partnership with Pratham since its inception in 2013 to augment educational outcomes for children aged 3-14 and provide skill training for youth aged 18-35 across 12 states in India. The education programs focus on enhancing learning outcomes through 4 distinct interventions (Anganwadi, Balvachan, Primary and Upper Primary Programs) in addition to different government partnerships. Simultaneously, the skilling programs equip young individuals with industry-relevant skills in areas like healthcare, electrical, hospitality, automotive and beauty. A pivotal element of this initiative is the implementation of community training camps, which utilize a hub-and-spoke model based on Pratham’s existing training centers. These camps are designed to enhance accessibility to vocational education, enabling wider community engagement and outreach. In the past 10 years of our Partnership with ITC, we have been able to train 47,000 + youth. This initiative brings education and vocational training directly to local communities, supporting children and youth for a brighter future.

Reach 2023-24

Since 2019, Kotak Group has been an integral partner in advancing Pratham’s vocational training programs. Till date their support has empowered over 39,600 youths across 12 states with industry-relevant skills. Through its various entities—Kotak Mahindra Prime Ltd. (KMPL), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. (KMBL), Kotak Mahindra Investments Ltd. (KMIL), and Kotak Mahindra Asset Management Company (KMAMC)—Kotak Group collectively supports training across 11 different vocational trades. This robust partnership has not only equipped youths with essential skills but also enhanced their employability and career prospects.

Reach 2023-24

P&G began its partnership with Pratham by supporting the ‘Read India’ program in Mysore under its initiative ‘Shiksha’ in 2005. In 2015-16, P&G once again joined hands with Pratham to support Pratham’s Early Childhood and Elementary Education interventions by backing the Early Childhood Education (ECE) program and the Read India (RI) program, which later evolved into the ‘Hamara Gaon’ program in 2018. The partnership has since expanded to 13 states, with government collaborations in Maharashtra, Himachal Pradesh, Telangana and Delhi, focusing on reducing the learning gaps both through Remedial Education and preemptively through early years Education.
