About the Partnership
Pratham Education Foundation and The Human Safety Net Foundation (THSN) have been working together since 2020 to strengthen early childhood development in underserved communities. What began as a Parent Education Program in Maharashtra has evolved into a comprehensive Early Stimulation initiative that now reaches families across Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh. Together, the partnership supports caregivers in creating nurturing, stimulating environments that help young children thrive during their most critical years of development.
Why We Are Raising Funds
This year, we are raising funds for Fundays with Fathers, a special initiative that aims to encourage fathers to play a more active role in their children's early development. While mothers are often the primary focus of early childhood programs, fathers also have a powerful influence on a child's learning, confidence, and emotional well-being.
Through interactive sessions, play-based activities, learning materials, and community events, Fundays with Fathers will create opportunities for fathers and children to spend meaningful time together while building stronger caregiving relationships.
Your contribution will help support the development of learning materials, digital content, volunteer orientations, and community engagement activities, enabling 100 fathers and their children in Maharashtra to participate in this innovative program. Together, we can create more nurturing environments where every child has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.
