Pratham was founded in 1995, to provide pre-school education to children in Mumbai slums. Role Overview
We are looking for a Power BI & Power Automate Analyst to support data-driven decision-making by building dashboards, automating workflows, and improving reporting efficiency for our Pratham Learning Platform (ie our Org-wide Learning Management System).
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Write and optimize DAX measures and perform basic data modelling.
- Connect Power BI to multiple data sources (Excel, SharePoint, SQL/PostgreSQL, APIs).
- Design and maintain Power Automate flows for report distribution, alerts, and process automation.
- Work with program/operations teams to understand reporting requirements and translate them into dashboards.
- Ensure data accuracy, refresh reliability, and basic access controls.
- Document dashboards, datasets, and automation logic.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience with Power BI Desktop & Power BI Service.
- Knowledge of DAX, M Query, and Relationships.
- Experience with Power Automate (email triggers, SharePoint, approvals, scheduled flows).
- Comfortable with SQL, Excel and SharePoint as data sources.
- Basic understanding of SQL / relational databases.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to explain data insights to non-technical users.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and manage content workflows efficiently
- Exposure to Power BI licensing (including Premium capacity), workspaces, and sharing models.
Good to Have
- Knowledge/Experience with PostgreSQL / SQL Server.
- Experience of 2-3 years in relevant field.
- Experience working with large or messy datasets.
- Prior experience in non-profit, education, or program monitoring contexts.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics and Tableau

Key Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Applications, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
